从android中的相机捕获后，提高图像的亮度和对比度

我正在制作一个应用程序，在该应用程序中，我从相机捕获图像并制作出pdf文件。
但是图像质量很差。所以我想设置图像的亮度和对比度。
1）从Android中的相机捕获后，有什么方法可以增加图像的亮度和对比度吗？
2）裁剪后捕获图像，然后以pdf格式显示后，图像的下部已被剪切。
对于此应用程序中的pdf用法，我使用了iText.jar（5.0.6）。
请帮忙。
