Spring Security 3-AuthenticationSuccessHandler / FailureHandler无法正常使用

我正在使用Spring Security 3对用户进行身份验证，并且正在使用弹出式窗体来允许用户输入其凭据。我正在使用Ajax处理登录。登录过程工作得很好，但是我无法让Spring Security将其重定向到配置中指定的成功/失败处理程序。而是，它总是返回网站的主页（home.do）。我知道Spring Security可以正确验证用户的身份，因为当我重新加载页面时，如果用户未通过验证，则存在隐藏的链接（显然，以前没有）。
